Welcome! to the Elastic Society Theory and Dangerous Dreams!
The Elastic Society Theory is a philosophical look into what human society could be – i.e. “the perfect garden.”
A story drawn from the core of our idealistic nature, the Elastic Society Theory weaves the tale of the might be and could be that mankind has not yet attained.
Idealistic to a fault, yet told through the eyes, heart, emotions and soul of her characters, this story is a believable tale of those who took the great step to cause evolutionary change. The series evolves the perfect society, carefully and realistically, leaving the reader with the belief and wonder of – why not?
Dangerous Dreams introduces the Elastic Society Theory gently, teasing the reader with what is to come. It sets the critical stage elements necessary to forge forward into the future of possibility as the other novels in the series bring the new society to life.
Yet Dangerous Dreams wields a character all her own! A teaser yes. Preparation, indeed. These crucial accomplishments lie gently in the background as Dangerous Dreams reaches out of its pages to grip the reader with talons of heart-pounding action, rapid story shifts, intrigue, mysterious characters and self-discovery the lead characters are forced to face as their world of routine and simplicity is whisked out from under them – gone forever.

Wow! If there is one new author that you read this year, this has to be the one.
Dangerous Dreams is significantly better than most of the established authors books I have read. I'm not saying it's the best book I ever read but it is in the top 10%!

Terry Schurter's book, Dangerous Dreams grabbed my imagination and didn't let go! From the start to the finish I was carried along with surprising twists and turns and a very fulfilling payoff at the end. I especially liked the concept of "Elastic Society Theory" which speaks to my idealistic nature. Terry has a very natural voice which is not too technical, but just right for those of us that are just a little bit techie, but not overmuch. The characters are charming, interesting and people that I'd like to spend more time with. Can't wait for Book # 2!

Dangerous Dreams Review by: Ed Morris

Magazine Editor, Tennessee
I liked Dangerous Dreams alot. It is well written and engaging but what I was most impressed with is how real and believable the characters are. The discontent with society, the desire for change, and how people react when they are put on the spot has been captured well here. I recommend this book without reservation.

Dangerous Dreams Review by: Leah Morse

Everyone has their own opinion of how the world should be, and how society should function; however, changing the world is a formidable task. But what if you could start a new society based on your own principles, the only catch being that you have to step far outside of the law to do so? Would you choose to stay in the world you so disapprove of or would you attempt to create your own society on a new world, possibly at the risk of your own life? What if the choice was not yours to make?
These are some of the questions you may ask yourself as you follow the story of Stewart Breston, a talented young man who dreams of a world very different from our own, a world founded on reason and logic. But when Stewart unexpectedly receives the opportunity to make his dreams come true, he realizes how truly dangerous the consequences may be. Will Stewart’s dreams come to life or will they turn into one life-size nightmare? Find out by following Stewart as he joins up with many powerful allies and loyal friends on a quest for definitive freedom in “Dangerous Dreams,” the first in a very promising series of novels by T. Schurter.

Dangerous Dreams Review by: J T Taylor

Well, I don't really read novels that much but was asked by a friend to read this book for his friend and give my review. It took a bit to get going but once it did I couldn't stop reading. I was pleased that there was little content that I found offensive and I really connected with Stewart and his friends. The ending totally caught me by surprise. When I was done reading I was sad - because I wanted to keep reading more! I am looking forward to the next book. This is really one of the most interesting books I have read.

Dangerous Dreams Review by: Alex Morse

Dangerous Dreams gets my thumbs up! I liked the story and plot, and especially the Egg - I'm designing my own now! But I don't think this is really science fiction. In fact, I think it is more like future science with a lot of drama, suspense and great character development. Reminded me of Tom Clancy's Net Force series - well, kinda. I actually liked Dangerous Dreams more. I think if you liked any of the Net Force books you'll like this book too.

Very good book. I highly recommend it. Once the plot starting really evolving I was hooked. I identified with Stewart and Marshal, each in their own way. I could really relate to both of these characters. Suspense was held right to the end and I especially loved the neat twist at the very end - I didn't see it coming!
